Youth Across Watford

  • Dream team – planning monthly events to draw young people together, to equip them to serve their friends, peers and young people, in the context of these and larger outreach events and in their daily lives in schools, at home, on the streets, & in youth groups. We are aiming for the large and small events to feed into each other and existing youth groups and have a strong youth involvement, leading, shaping role.

  • Watford Town Centre Chaplaincy – specifically the new Youth Chaplains after school project and existing Skate Park Chaplains.
  • Previously some of us were involved in Local Soul in the City, Noise & Miracle Street projects.

Some of our focus is 11-18 year olds/secondary school age, others is more teenagers.

Those meeting together are a mix of full, part time and volunteers and from a mix of churches and Christian organisations and we are in contact with a much wider network of people working with young people across the town and the wider local WD post code/Secondary schools & neighbouring areas.
From Croxley to Bushey, S. Oxhey to Kings Langley, with links to Chorleywood, Radlett, Harrow & Hemel

We are represented on Christians Across Watford, Hope 08 and the local Children’s Trust Partnership.

Thursday 3rd April 2-10pm
St Mary's Church Centre - Watford High Street,
Inside & Out, mix of teen activities.
Plans to include Bungee run, BBQ, Youth Bus, Girls Pamper Area, Multiple Computer Games Area, MC& DJing workshops, music, café, band, evening hosted by Ben from Bushey & Mary from the Ark!

November/December Town Centre Venue tbc.


Youth Across Watford Regular Events:


Events may include a mix of teens from across the Watford area, schools & churches.
An opportunity to meet & making friends, listen to music, chill out, play games, snack at the café or tuck shop, worship, word, prayer, and much more. Entry Free - some activities may cost ie tuck shop.
